  • Participated in a three-month studio residency program with international artists from different parts of the world.

Ontario Arts Council Grant | March-August 2021

  • Received a grant in collaboration with Kunji Mark Ikeda, Eric Lawrence Taylor and Mayumi Lashbrook to research a cross disciplinary and cross cultural exploration of precious metals, seeds, and people across imagined and real borders.
  • We connected for a 7-week multi-disciplinary online creation residency, culminating in a public work-in-progress showing.
  • The grant had an application criteria and rigorous reporting standards that were met and in 2021 we had an initial research period supported by the Ontario Arts Council that took place online with a work-in-progress showing at the culmination hosted by L’AiR Arts.

  • Participation in an eight-month studio residency program, working on Text and Drawing.

  • Revisiting the Roaring Twenties 1920/2020: Art, Culture and the École de Paris. L’Air Arts, Paris | January 2020
  • Participation in a three-week multi-disciplinary residency program. During the residency period, artists exchanged ideas with their fellow residents from other countries, participated in relevant professional development events and showcased their work. The goals of this residency was to support international dialogue towards an open and free society of today. Today’s Europe must remain open to the globalized world, including emerging countries, and artistic exchanges are an ideal platform to facilitate this urgent and complex goal.
